Diane Lachance, CZT: Introduced to drawing at the age of five, art has been my lifelong love. Completing the certification to become a CZT in 2009, I began teaching Zentangle in the Concord, NH area and have been continuing to enjoy this wonderful tangled journey ever since! A graduate of the Architectural Engineering program at NHTI, I enjoyed an 18 year career as a corporate facilities planner until retiring to raise my son. Along with homeschooling, I taught drawing to children for several years. Empty nesting coincided with my discovery of Zentangle. Teaching students of all ages has become my passion. Studies at Boston Architectural Center and Notre Dame College complement my education in art and architecture. I firmly believe that learning Zentangle is a key to unlock the door to creativity for people who may have closed that door for a variety of reasons. By learning Zentangle, students can gain basic drawing skills needed to be successful in other art forms. I welcome people of all ages to discover Zentangle.
