Students supply their own basic materials: a variety of pen sizes and pen colors, pencils, kneaded rubber and paper shaders. Instructor  will provide drawing tiles, specialty materials and use of color mediums.   Previous Basic instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.

Choose from a selection of holiday themed Zentangle projects: cards, decorations, embellished letters and zendala gift boxes. 

Students supply their own basic materials: a variety of pen sizes and pen colors, pencils, kneaded rubber and paper shaders. Instructor  will provide drawing tiles, specialty materials and use of color mediums.  Students are encouraged to bring their own color mediums.  Previous Basic instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.      

A Day of “Z” Zentangle

Set aside a day JUST FOR YOU and join us for some Zentangle relaxation and fun! 

Students supply their own basic materials: a variety of pen sizes and pen colors, pencils,     a 9 x 12 pad of watercolor paper (cold or hot press), kneaded rubber and paper shaders.  Students are encouraged to bring color mediums of their own. Instructor will provide specialty materials, drawing tiles and use of color mediums.  Previous Basic instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.

Zentangle® Tangled Letters Workshop

Friday, June 5, 2015  10AM - 1PM,  $39

Classic, elegant or funky?  You choose the style, learn how to use letter transfers and then draw simple, yet intricate looking Zentangle patterns to create a tangled letter for yourself or another.  Tangled letters make wonderful graduation, wedding, birthday and special occasion gifts.  Instructor will provide tiles, letter templates and drawing surfaces.  Colored pens, pencils and other mediums will be available for use in class.  Students are responsible for bringing a variety of pens (minimum an 01 and 08 size black), pencils and shaders.   Previous instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.

Saturday, April 26, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Spend a relaxing day exploring Zentangle and some of its applications in mindfulness and art.   Activities will include Zentangle  as meditation/mindful, using tangles as borders, tea staining, using white pens, pencils and Zenstones as well as drawing on the new "Renaissance" (tan) tiles.  Students are responsible for bringing basic materials: 01 and 08 black pens, pencils and shaders.  Students will receive remainder of materials including all drawing surfaces, two brown pens, white pen, white pencil, Zenstone, shader, paint brush and a mat in a poly sleeve.  Previous instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.  To learn more about Zentangle, visit www.zentangle.com.

A natural continuation from Basics, this class will maintain a beginner pace while learning new tangle patterns and increasing confidence in shading.   Students will also learn simple techniques for changing already learned patterns into exciting new patterns.  Come join the fun and meet others who also enjoy Zentangle^®.  Materials include pens, pencil, shader, and tiles.  Previous instruction from a certified Zentangle teacher is required.    The cost is $89 including materials.

Thursday: October 10, 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Can't get enough tangles?  This workshop is for you.  Twing Series will be taught: Twing, Chillon, Echoism, Floo, Nekton and Tagh.   If time allows, more patterns will be added.   Mastering these patterns with suggestions on variations and shading will be the focus.  Students are responsible for bringing basic materials: 01 and 08 black pens, pencils and shaders.  Other materials provided include tiles, drawing surfaces and extras.  Previous instruction from a certified Zentangle teacher is required.   The cost is $35

Zentangle^® More Tangle Patterns 

Saturday: November  2, 9:30 AM - 12:00 Noon

Can't get enough tangles?  This workshop is for you.  Xyp Series will be taught: Xyp, BB, Emingle, Man-O-Man, Quipple, Raddox.  If time allows, more patterns will be added.   Mastering these patterns with suggestions on variations and shading will be the focus.  Students are responsible for bringing basic materials: 01 and 08 black pens, pencils and shaders.  Other materials provided include tiles, drawing surfaces and extras.  Previous instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.  The cost is $35.

In this workshop we will focus on shading tangle patterns.  General instruction to the class and well as individual instruction will be provided. Come learn how to enhance your work and make your zentangles "pop!"  Students are responsible for bringing basic materials: 01 and 08 black pens, pencils and shaders.  Other materials provided include tiles, drawing surfaces and a mat with poly sleeve. Previous instruction from a Certified Zentangle Teacher is required.  The cost is $35.

Come learn the new and creative drawing form called Zentangle^® and unlock the potential for this creative tool in your classroom.  With Zentangle, drawing can become relaxing, intuitive, and fun while increasing one’s personal sense of well-being, creativity and focus at any age.   Any classroom teacher can apply this art form to classroom challenges such as problem solving, team building, focus with ADD, self esteem, handwriting, and stress management.  All participants will learn how to create zentangles, discover how drawing tangles benefit a student’s learning, and leave with resources for use in the classroom as well as CEU's and a Certificate of Participation.  The cost is $59 including materials.
